I hope you do your own version of NaPoWriMo-- The 15 minute thing is completely an invention of mine to deal with my own habits. I think the only original rule was a poem a day for 30 days... The last time I did a poem a day it was in response to something Marvin Bell said in an interview but I only made it a few days before I got lost in revisions. It's weird to put naked, quick, mostly un-edited work... but for me, because I am a slow writer, I need a kick to just write quickly and spontaneously. I'm thinking about an alteration that would make the month more productive to me, and that's to allow for more than 15 minutes (I can't imagine writing that fast!)
