of my last post? The first. of April. The secret to a good April Fool’s prank is that the prank has to have some element of truth and match one’s (in this case impulsive) personality.
But there was a lot of truth toward the end– I would gladly trade
the experience of creating a single truly great poem for pretty much
everything I’ve ever done in educational technology, but I suspect most
artists feel that way about their “day jobs.†It really makes me feel
grateful at having a job I actually love (most of the time) and
co-workers I like working with. Imagine being stuck in a horrible job?
So, no, the I did not win the lottery (familial or otherwise) and won’t be going anywhere quite yet.
